First and foremost, beard oils are meant to be used to moisturize the skin under your beard.   It is only a secondary purpose to give the beard shine.

Jojoba oil provides skin benefits such as deep moisturizing, reducing inflammation, and promoting a healthy skin barrier. It is a humectant that draws water into the skin while also containing antioxidants like Vitamin E, which protect against aging and soothe irritation. Its antimicrobial, non-comedogenic, and anti-inflammatory properties also make it effective at balancing oil production, helping to reduce acne and soothe conditions like eczema.

Hemp oil offers numerous benefits for skin due to its rich composition of fatty acids, antioxidants, and other beneficial compounds. It can moisturize, balance oil production, reduce inflammation, and potentially improve the appearance of acne, eczema, and signs of aging

Sweet almond oil offers many benefits for skin, including deep moisturization, improved skin tone, reduced appearance of scars and stretch marks, and protection against sun damage. Its rich content of vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants helps nourish, soothe, and revitalize the skin.

Plastic combs are known to cause hair damage, split ends, and breakage.  This is due to the rough manner in which they are molded as well as the static electricity that they cause.   Beards combs should always be wooden, bone, or metal.

Shampoo is specifically formulated for your scalp and is much more harsh than beard wash.   Beard wash prevents stripping natural oils from your beard and is pH balanced for facial skin.
